The Great Leader
In the game of Cricket, there are two innings. The first inning helps the player to understand the pitch, rules, other team members and the opposition team.In the second inning, they play pretty good. Now, Jayalalithaa scores boundaries & sixers. Look at the recent Tsunami disaster.
Even UNICEF appreciated both Jayalalithaa & Manmohan singh for the quick recovery. Of all the affected countries, India recovered quick and Tamilnadu people are celebrating the Pongal immediately.
When those airplanes hit the twin towers on September 11, 2001, the Newyork Mayor, Rudy Giuliani handled the situation very good and he emerged as a world leader on that day.
Rudy let American people understand the seriousness of the disaster. At the same time, by walking on the road, Rudy instilled the confidence & hope for the survivors. People were worrying about living in Manhattan & NewYork. But Rudy handled the situation so well, people continue to live in NewYork and do business in Manhattan.
It was not the failure of these presidents. Is was a failure of the CIA agency. George Tenet , the CIA chief should be held accountable for the September 11 incident. In America, leaders have autonomous and at the same time, they are accountable for the decisions they have made.
Here in India... No leaders have any autonomy and no one is accountable. Jayalalithaa efficiently handled the recovery from the tsunami disaster. As the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, she brought life back to normal.
The central government is responsible for protecting the country from any natural disaster. They failed to do so. The current and all the previous central governments should be held accountable for this failure to protect the nation from natural disaster. By solving issues like, Veerappan, Tsunami and others, Jayalalithaa is emerging as a National Leader. Now, not only in Tamilnadu, people in other states too appreciate Jayalalithaa. You need an able administrator and experienced leader to lead the country.
Jayalalithaa gained very good experience in governing Tamilnadu. Now she has all the skills, talents and experience to lead the Central government. With her experience as a Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa understands the needs of the state governments.
In America, before becoming the President, they govern a state and gain experience in administration etc. In India, just by hanging around there in Delhi, you qualify to become
Prime Minister or the Central Ministers. How do you become the captain of the Indian Cricket Team. You need to play good cricket in the local team, then state level and then you will be considered for the Indian Team. But to become a union minister, you don't need any experience in managing any government.
If you can manage to run a big party with many factions, then you are considered to have all the experience and skills to lead the country. This model doesn't sound good. With her excellent performance, Jayalalithaa qualifies to lead the country. How can Jayalalithaa become the Prime Minsiter? Jayalalithaa is not in the Congress alliance and she is not in the BJP alliance too. She is not here and she is not there. Even Peter Drucker was in the same situation, fifty years back.
When Peter Drucker wrote the book, Concept of the Corporation, his colleagues said,
"this book doesn't fit into the Political Science section."
"and it doesn't fit into the Economics section too".
Peter Drucker said, "Yes, you are right!"
In that case, there should be something new.
"Management"
That is how the field of Management science born. Now, Jayalalithaa doesn't belong to Congress alliance. She doesn't belong to BJP alliance too.
Jayalalithaa is on her own. No alliance. The nation needs leaders. not crowd of parties. Jayalalithaa emerging as a New Force. New Leadership. Change is inevitable and it is happening.
