A delegation of Microsoft Corporation led by Mr. Bill Gates, Chairman & Chief Software Architect, Microsoft Corporation, met Selvi J Jayalalithaa, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, at the Secretariat, on (9.12.2005).
A MoU was signed between the Government of Tamil Nadu and Ms. Microsoft Corporation (India) in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Selvi J Jayalalithaa on 22.8.2005 for the implementation of the "Project Siksha" as part of the ‘Partners in Learning Programme’ of the Microsoft Corporation to improve the quality of education by empowering school teachers with technology to achieve their fullest potential. |
